Vice President of TAG's Software Division

As the Vice President of TAG’s Software Division, Tom Bergmann is responsible for the all aspects of TAG’s software services including the management of the Sage VAR relationship, managing staff and contractors, and representing TAG’s software expertise in the community.

Tom joined TAG in 2010 after founding HowCanIHelpYou.com, an employment strategy toolkit for those seeking jobs, as well as those who are employed and seeking to enhance their careers. Previously, Tom served as Principal at CUSTOMatrix, a management consultancy focused on bringing money to clients’ bottom lines. He worked with clients in multiple industries to determine IT strategy, select and implement technology systems, and mentor IT staff for high performance.

Prior to joining CUSTOMatrix, Tom held senior management positions at Gartner and BearingPoint where he headed various technology practices.

Tom holds a MBA in international finance and a BA in anthropology.  He has presented at various national conferences and workshops.  He currently serves on the Dean’s Advisory Council for the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences at Iowa State University and as member of the Board of Directors for Insynergy Consulting Group and the MIT Enterprise Forum, and has served as a Director of San Diego DEFCOMM. Mr. Bergmann also serves as a guest lecturer in IT Strategy at the Graziadio School of Business at Pepperdine University and as a CONNECT Entrepreneur-in-Residence, providing mentorship for startup technology CEOs.
